Early Educator Cohort

You’ve completed your student teaching. You've applied and interviewed. You’ve accepted your first teaching job.

Now it’s real. You’re the teacher. When the bell rings you’ll have dozens, possibly hundreds, of students come through your classroom. What now?

At Teach for 3 we are passionate about walking through the first years of being an educator with you. These years are critical to your success and sustainability in the field.

In 2019 we started our first “teacher cohort” with 3 first year high school teachers. We met in our living room to discuss the highs and lows of their experiences. We shared encouragement and helped carry each other through.

While we can’t meet in our living room with every new teacher, we can connect with you and provide community for you thanks to technology. Our Early Educator Cohort will provide you with a community of other teachers to share the experience of the first year together. We envision this community as a place where you can be honest about your struggles, listen and encourage, trouble shoot problems, and be strengthened to face the first year together.

Additionally, as a member of the Early Educator Cohort, you will receive coaching and mentoring to build habits for personal and professional development, grow the successful classroom culture you desire, and feel empowered to have a longstanding, thriving career. We will have coaching calls, resources, special guests, challenges and more.

We are now accepting members for the 2024-2025 Early Educator Cohort. If you are interested in learning more about the cohort, please fill out the form below or send us an email.
