Teach for 3 was founded by husband and wife team, Tony and Bridget Winkler.

Tony currently teaches high school math and is a teacher coach in a rural public school in central Illinois.  

Tony has over two decades of experience working with students and fellow educators in many different arenas: as a junior high and high school math teacher, a basketball and tennis coach, a youth sports coach, and a summer camp director.  He’s also got experience working inside private schools, urban public schools, and rural public schools.

Tony’s passion today continues to be to invest in and mentor students but also to come alongside new educators entering the field and provide the support and coaching they need so that they can flourish in their newly established classrooms.

Tony enjoys backpacking, running, and watching Fighting Illini Basketball. He’s prone to wear shirts that he’s had for 20 years and to miss most trends that are occurring on social media. 

Bridget is Tony’s better half, who refreshes his wardrobe and educates him about world events.  She enjoys brainstorming new ideas, making anything, drinking coffee, and going on long walks.

Bridget is the primary content creator and creative for Teach for 3 in addition to running her own small business, taking care of their three beautiful, wild children, and being quietly amazing in a myriad of other ways (according to Tony).
